Artigiangomma

An Italian story that starts in Tuscany …

Artigiangomma was founded in September 1980 upon the initiative of three partners who, thanks to their entrepreneurial skills, managed to transform their idea into a significant company in the Tuscan sector, within a few short years.

The traditional processing of polyurethane foam sees blocks transformed into panels, shaped cushions and anything else requested by the customer. Other processes include the upholstery of metal or wooden frames to create sofas with removable covers, hence semi-finished products created for upholstered furniture.

This has led the company to work with a market that extends beyond a local clientèle, to collaborate with companies at an international level thanks to an increasingly-honed professionalism in terms of specifications and details.

In the early 2000s came the trade of mechanisms and mattresses for sofas and beds.

In early 2014, with the acquisition of Toscana Piume, a new world opened up for Artigiangomma. It is now possible to create any type of cushion in feather and similar materials. What’s more, a division has been established for creating prototypes – from the frame to the finished product – with 100-plus models available, including sofas, armchairs, chairs and beds to be offered to customers already upholstered and with a white covering, ready to be finished with fabric or another material.

Today, Artigiangomma works to create semi-finished products for those who produce upholstered furniture. All this whilst maintaining the quality, comfort and durability.
